Reduce Stress By Letting Go Of Unwanted Things - Edition 2


One of the best ways to de-stress is to de-clutter. This can be hard for people sometimes. It is hard to know what to get rid of and what to keep. You will have thoughts like ‘What if I need that in the future?’ or ‘I remember getting rid of something and then a few weeks later I wished I hadn’t’. So, how is the best way to go about de-cluttering your life?

Look around your house. Find something that is out of place. Pick it up. Does this item make you happy? Does it serve you? Does it have any spiritual value? Do you really need to keep it?

If the answer to more than one of these questions is no, you do not need it then it's time to let go of the item.

There are many things you can do with these items that can make you feel great, help you de-clutter and create space for new and wonderful things to come into your life. How about giving them to a charity shop or a homeless shelter? What about giving something to a friend or family member? Or, you could even sell some things on eBay for some extra cash?

Whichever way you choose to get rid of these unwanted items, it should be a way that benefits you. Instead of losing you are automatically gaining, whether it be mentally, emotionally or physically!
